Confirmation Workshop at Good Samaritan Lutheran Church in Las Vegas - September 18th, 2010
Grace Place for Single Lutheran Clergy and Educators at St. Benedict’s Monastery Retreat House, Snowmass, Colorado, September 1-5 (2010)
This retreat, focused on widowed, divorced or never married singles in Lutheran ministry, will be led by Dr. Eckrich and Rev. Dr. Mel and Dr. Mary Jacob of Orlando, Florida, both in the ELCA. St. Benedict’s is in an incredible high mountain valley just west of Aspen, Colorado and the home of contemplatives like Fr. Thomas Keating. All inclusive cost is $360 per person. 'Feeding' Our Community - A Free Workshop Addressing Hunger in Our Present Day Communities, October 16, 23, and 30 (2010)
Attendees will preview a workshop format and curriculum on the issues of hunger in our community and our world. This role simulation format lifts up the urgency of addressing hunger in our present day neighborhoods and communities, as well as throughout Arizona. This session will include a Q/A component designed to provide social justice project information and solutions on the topic of hunger and other advocacy needs in our Arizona communities. This workshop is to be held at the University of Arizona Campus Christian Center on October 16, at the Lutheran Campus Ministry, NAU Campus Center on October 23, and at the Lutheran Campus Ministry, ASU Campus Center on October 30. Missional Leadership Academy Orientation Retreat for Class of 2012, November 12-13 (2010)

Missional Church Conference, January 29 (2011)
The Annual Missional Church Conference is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 29 at Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center (Carefree). Michael Foss is the keynote speaking on the theme "Growing the Church By Growing Disciples". Missional Leadership Academy congregations are invited for a special reunion day with Pastor Foss on Friday, Jan. 28. These are seminars for those who serve in staff settings, newly called senior/head of staff pastors, and a seminar for those who have recently moved from one ministry setting to another.
