Crane Lecture Series at Mountain View, Phoenix, February 24-25
As part of Mountain View’s Crane Lecture Series they are hosting Pr. Michael Foss who wrote, “Power Surge: Six Marks of Discipleship for a Changing Church” on February 24 & 25. The event is open to any interested persons (rostered or lay). The 2012 Grand Canyon Synod Assembly will be held at Community Lutheran Church, Las Vegas, NV. The theme will be “Welcoming Justice: Becoming a Beloved Community”.

Grand Canyon Women of the ELCA Annual Convention, November 2-4
The Grand Canyon Women of the ELCA will be holding its annual convention/gathering on the weekend of November 2-4, 2012, at the Legado Hotel, San Tan Village Parkway, Gilbert. They will be celebrating 25 years as an organization. Plans for the weekend are still being developed but will be available on the GCS website as they are finalized.
Retired Pastors Retreat, December 4-5
The theme for December 4-5 will be: "SPIRITUALLY ALIVE AFTER 65." The speaker will be Fr. Greg Adolph, a priest from Sierra Vista. Fr. Greg was formerly a Lutheran pastor serving in Tucson.
