Inspire Leadership, Build Discipleship, Grow Stewardship
GCS Stewardship Resources
In the biblical meaning it refers to how we manage all of what God has entrusted to us - our money, our time and talents, our environment. Everything belongs to God. Stewardship conveys a sense of discipleship. How we care for what is God's, use it, and share it are all part of stewardship.
Stewardship is not only about money but this is a good place to begin. As St. Paul says, "The LOVE of money is the root of all evil." Money has power and influence over our hearts. Jesus says, "Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Stewardship education helps us to understand the spiritual forces at work in our lives.
