You are invited to a candlelit service of Advent Vespers with Lessons and Carols on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM, hosted by Faith Lutheran Church, 801 East Camelback Road, Phoenix. This beloved tradition invites us into the beauty, quiet expectation, and joyful hope that mark the Advent season as we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ.
The service weaves together readings from Holy Scripture that trace God’s promise of salvation—from creation to incarnation—offering a deeply Lutheran proclamation of God’s faithfulness. Through this journey of word and story, we witness again the unfolding of God’s redeeming love.
Music will play a central role in this year’s worship. The Faith Chancel Choir, directed by Paul Lee, Director of Music and Organist, will offer choral anthems that illuminate the Advent narrative. The congregation is invited to join in carols and hymns, supported by the swell of the church’s mighty pipe organ.
Following worship, all are welcome to stay for a festive time of fellowship at the Dessert Festival—a sweet way to close a meaningful afternoon and continue deepening community during the Advent season.
