Free Webinar: Navigating Church Property Insurance

Insurance continues to be one of the most pressing property concerns facing congregations across the ELCA. In response, the Church Property Resource Hub is hosting a free webinar on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, offering guidance, context, and practical support for leaders navigating today’s complex insurance landscape. The webinar will take place at 2:00 p.m. Central Time (12:00 p.m. Arizona / Pacific Time) via Zoom and is open to pastors, council members, and anyone involved in congregational property or financial stewardship.

Participants will hear from representatives of Church Mutual Insurance alongside the Church Property Resource Hub team. Together, they will explore current trends in the insurance market, key challenges facing congregations, and options and resources available to help communities make informed decisions.

As Lutheran Christians, we understand stewardship not only as financial care but as faithful tending of the spaces entrusted to us for ministry. Our buildings serve as places of worship, refuge, and community. Conversations like this help equip congregations to sustain those spaces in changing and uncertain conditions.
