Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City West invites the whole community to a cherished Advent-season tradition: the annual Messiah Sing-Along on Sunday, November 30 at 3 PM. Whether you come ready to sing or simply wish to listen, this joyful gathering celebrates the beauty and promise of Christ’s coming through Handel’s soaring music.
Under the direction of Dave Lien, Lord of Life’s choir—together with a live orchestra—will lead beloved selections from the Christmas portion of Messiah, including Comfort Ye My People, For Unto Us a Child Is Born, He Shall Feed His Flock, and more. Books will be available for all singers who wish to participate.
This event reflects the heart of Lutheran worship: participation, praise, and proclaiming God’s Word through music. As voices rise together, the afternoon offers a meaningful way to enter Advent with hope, anticipation, and shared joy.
Those wishing to rehearse may attend on Saturday, November 29 at 9 AM, or join midweek rehearsals on Wednesdays, November 19 and 26 at 1:30 PM. All are welcome—no prior choir experience required.
Invite friends, family, and neighbors to take part in this time-honored celebration of sacred music.
