Mount of Olives Lutheran Church in Phoenix invites you to the next installment of its summer Music for Food concert series—free events where beautiful jazz meets bold mission. On Sunday, August 10 at 5:30 PM, come experience Jazz Vespers with Beth Lederman and Kimberly Weston, blending soulful performance with heartfelt purpose.
Each concert in this ongoing series supports the Olive Branch Community of Hope Food Pantry, a ministry of Mount of Olives that now feeds more than 150 families every week. Once housed in a coat closet, the pantry has grown into a vital community hub thanks to partnerships with St. Mary’s Food Bank and Waste Not.
The August 10 concert will be held at: Mount of Olives Lutheran Church, 3546 E Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85018.
A reception with light refreshments will follow, supported by a Thrivent Action Grant.
This musical series is a reflection of our faith in action. In the words of Jesus, “I was hungry and you gave me food”(Matthew 25:35). Through the beauty of jazz and the power of community, this ministry feeds both body and spirit.
The series continues on Sunday, September 14 at 5:30 PM, with the guest artist to be announced soon.
All are welcome. Bring a friend, enjoy the music, and help support the work of feeding families in our community. Let’s come together in harmony and hope.
