Pastoral ministry is such a diverse vocation. As expected, anytime one works with people, there are joys and challenges. I would think that God has been preparing me for service in his name all throughout my life - from my first job as high school life guard to the complexities of ministry today. I value each and every person and interaction (even the difficult ones) for they have grown my understanding of Christ's church and people.
