Life Experiences: I am a cradle Lutheran, even went to church and taught Sunday School when I was in college. I volunteered in Children's Ministry until our daughter was in middle school, then was hired as Children's Ministry Director for 2 different churches in California. I then joined the staff of the Sierra Pacific Synod as Communications Coordinator under Bishop Mark W. Holmrud. After we moved to Phoenix, I was hired as the Children's Ministry Coordinator at Peace Lutheran, Peoria and joined the staff of the Grand Canyon Synod as Administration and Events Assistant. I am currently the chair of the Synod Assembly Planning Team. Having served in two of the three expressions of the ELCA, I am eager to serve Churchwide by participating as a voting member at the Churchwide Assembly in 2025.
