Camp ALOMA Junior Servant Training for 10th-12 Graders (Fall 2021)

Students entering 10th-12 Grades in Fall 2021: Start your training now to become a Camp Counselor. Camp ALOMA, Prescott, is offering Junior Servant (JS) Training the week of June 6 or the week of June 27. Cost is $315. Register at www.campaloma.com.

JS's train for one week, and they continue their training by volunteering for other camp weeks during the summer. Then, starting in Summer Camp 2022, they can work at Camp ALOMA. JS Training is a great start on the path to becoming a Camp Counselor.

Assembly worship service and sermon will be available

The pre-recorded worship service which closes our 2021 synod assembly will be available for use and download on Friday morning, June 11, 2021, for use by congregations and individuals.

The service is provided by our assembly hosts at Community Lutheran in Las Vegas, including Rev. Benjamin Bergren, Rev. Brian Ward, and Bruce Ewing. It will feature our virtual choir and a sermon from Rev. Albert Starr, our ELCA guest. The sermon will be available as a stand-alone file as well.
