Life Experiences: I have attended four ELCA Churchwide assemblies, however this would be my first as a voting member. In the past, I have been a registered visitor, keenly engaged in observing the decision-making process and community engagement that happens during an Assembly. I am aware of the commitment, responsibility, and possibility of making a difference that comes with serving as a voting member. I am a careful listener, am collaborative, appreciate thoughtful debate, am comfortable with conflict, and am invested in the transformational possibility of the ELCA expression of Christ's church. I was a lay member and leader of our ELCA since its inception, involved in youth, camp, and LGBTQIA+ ministry and have been ordained since 2021, serving now as a full-time pastor in Tucson.
