Registration is now open for the Camp ALOMA Annual New Year’s Retreat for Jr High and High School students, a relaxed, joy-filled way for youth to welcome 2026 together in community and faith.
Held from 3:00 pm on Monday, December 29, 2025, through 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 1, 2026, this retreat invites youth to step away from everyday pressures and step into a space shaped by worship, friendship, and reflection. Located at Camp ALOMA in Prescott, Arizona (300 Margaret Dr, Prescott, AZ 86305), the retreat blends classic camp experiences with the slower, more reflective rhythm of retreat season.
Youth can expect a truly “chill” and welcoming environment—complete with devotions, worship, campfires, games, activities, and plenty of time to connect with friends old and new. The retreat offers space to reflect on God’s presence in the year past and to look ahead with hope, faith, and excitement for the year to come. While there may be a few late nights (it is a New Year’s retreat, after all!), the goal is to head into 2026 spiritually refreshed and energized.
The cost is $110 per camper, making this an accessible and meaningful opportunity for congregations, families, and youth leaders across the Grand Canyon Synod. Youth are encouraged to invite friends and experience this unique retreat together.
