Assembly Art Now Available: Explore the Images of “Rooted in God’s Story”

Throughout the 2026 Grand Canyon Synod Assembly, many of you noticed the artwork woven through worship slides, presentations, signage, and communications. Today, we’re excited to share more than 50 images from this year’s collection—created to reflect our Assembly theme, “Rooted in God’s Story.”

Inspired by the sacred landscapes of our synod, this year’s visuals feature canyon horizons, desert plants, stylized roots, and soft light that evoke both place and faith across Arizona, southern Nevada, St. George, and the Navajo Nation.

Like last year’s Assembly artwork, these images were created using generative AI tools guided by thoughtful theological and artistic direction rooted in the Assembly theme. The result is a collection of modern sacred desert imagery designed to support worship, storytelling, and visual reflection.

We’re making the full image collection available for congregations, ministries, and individuals throughout the synod to use in worship, newsletters, presentations, projection backgrounds, and other ministry settings.
