Weekly Meditation

AFN Monday Meditations continue each week at noon, led by Bhikkhu Vasu Bandhu and guests. A time to root the week in peace and presence.

  • Faith and Science from an Islamic Perspective (Part 2): Saturday, August 16, 12:00 pm — Explore the harmony of science and spirit through Islamic wisdom.

  • Interfaith Book Group – The Tears of Things by Richard Rohr: Wednesdays, August 20–Sept 17, 6:30–8:00 pm — A 5-week interfaith study rooted in prophetic justice and healing.

  • ELCA Churchwide Assembly Candlelight Vigil: Wednesday, July 30, 9:00 pm at Peace Park, Phoenix. Join us as we lift up the dignity of all people, especially migrants and refugees, during the ELCA’s triennial assembly.

  • Youth Voices: Arizona’s Extreme Heat: Sunday, August 3, 1:00–3:00 pm at Shepherd of the Hills UCC — Build heat relief kits and elevate youth climate voices.

  • Future of Faith: Young Interfaith Leaders Speak: Thursday, July 31, 9:00 am on Zoom — Hear global youth leaders reflect on faith, justice, and hope.

Voter Engagement and Faith Formation

  • Voter Registration Training: Monday, August 11, 2:00 pm via Zoom — Get equipped to help your community vote in 2025.

  • Faith Formation Survey: Take a 15-minute survey from Wesley Theological Seminary to support how children grow in worship.
