Bible Study Series on Justice Now Available: “For the Life of the World”
Throughout the month of July, members across our synod and beyond gathered online to reflect on the Churchwide Assembly theme, For the Life of the World, through three critical justice lenses: climate justice, gender justice, and reconciliation in times of conflict. These meaningful Wednesday evening Bible study sessions—held July 9, 16, and 23—are now available to view and share.
Each session invited us to engage with Scripture and explore how our faith informs our response to real-world challenges:
Climate Justice – Willie Korboi: Watch Video | Download Study Guide
Gender Justice – Deacon Clare Josef-Maier: Watch Video.| Download Study Guide
War/Conflict and Reconciliation – Rev. Atahualpa Hernández Miranda: Watch Video | Download Study Guide
These sessions were rich with theological insight, personal witness, and scriptural grounding—offering accessible resources for congregations, small groups, or personal study.
Even if you couldn’t attend live, you can still engage with this important series. The videos and study guides remain available for anyone seeking to deepen their understanding of how Lutheran faith calls us to justice, healing, and hope.
