Call for Entries: Share Your Religious Art or Architecture Project
Faith & Form Awards 2026: Call for Sacred Art and Architecture Submissions
Have you been part of a project that transformed a sacred space, reimagined a worship environment, or created meaningful religious art? The 2026 Faith & Form International Awards for Religious Architecture & Art is now open for entries, celebrating excellence in religious design from around the world.
Founded in 1978, the awards program honors exceptional work in architecture, liturgical design, sacred landscapes, and creative collaborations that enhance the spiritual life of communities. Submissions are open through October 10, 2025, and are welcome from architects, designers, artists, students, and faith-based or community organizations. Projects must have been completed after January 1, 2020.
This is an opportunity for Grand Canyon Synod congregations, artists, and ministry partners to share how faith is embodied in form—whether through the renovation of a sanctuary, the creation of new sacred art, or community engagement through visual and performing arts. The full list of categories includes everything from adaptive reuse and liturgical design to student work and unbuilt concepts.
Winners will be featured in Sacred Places Magazine, honored in an international virtual awards ceremony, and recognized at the AIA National Convention through Interfaith Design (as conditions permit). Printed citations and global visibility are among the many rewards for those selected.
The 2026 jury includes:
Joshua Zinder (Chair), AIA, LEED AP, NCARB
Lisa J. DeBoer, PhD, Westmont College
Rev. Drew Henry, Immanuel Presbyterian Church, NM
Erica Ruggiero, Associate AIA
Edward Torrez, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP
Jury Facilitator: Kevin Block, Partners for Sacred Places
