Discover Fresh Fundraising Ideas for Youth Ministry
Youth ministry leaders, volunteers, parents, and congregational teams are invited to a free SYAT Collective Zoom conversation on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, at 10 a.m. Participants will share and explore creative, technology-savvy ways to raise money for mission trips, the ELCA Youth Gathering, airfare to camp, and other formational experiences.
Register for the Sept. 17 Zoom gathering.
Fundraising is about more than meeting a financial goal. It can help a congregation invest in its young people, remove barriers to participation, and invite the whole community into the church’s shared ministry. By pooling ideas and learning from one another, we can expand access to experiences through which children, youth, and young adults encounter God, deepen their faith, and grow as disciples.
The online fundraising landscape continues to evolve, offering ministries new ways to connect with supporters and fund meaningful opportunities. Whether your congregation has a successful approach to share or is searching for new ideas, this conversation will offer practical insights and space to learn from ministry partners across the Grand Canyon Synod.
The SYAT Collective supports children, youth, and young adult ministry through monthly Thursday Zoom gatherings on topics that equip congregations for ministry with younger generations.
