Faith Leaders Unite to Confront Christian Nationalism: Join the Clergy Quarterly Touchpoint
Confronting Christian Nationalism — Faith-Rooted Organizing for Clergy
Thursday, October 30, 2025 | 12:00–1:30 p.m. CT / 1:00–2:30 p.m. ET | Online via Zoom
Faith leaders across the country are invited to a special Clergy Quarterly Touchpoint hosted by BJC (Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty) and the Christians Against Christian Nationalism team on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 12:00–1:30 p.m. Central / 1:00–2:30 p.m. Eastern, online via Zoom.
This new quarterly series is designed specifically for clergy—pastors, priests, rabbis, imams, ministers, and other faith leaders—who are ready to confront the growing threat of Christian nationalism with faith, courage, and creativity.
Christian nationalism continues to endanger both democracy and the dignity of vulnerable communities. As the BJC notes, clergy carry a unique and sacred responsibility in this moment: to guide congregations in faithful, public witness that strengthens democracy and upholds the worth of every person.
This first session, Confronting Christian Nationalism — Faith-Rooted Organizing for Clergy, will focus on listening to clergy voices and exploring how faith-rooted organizing can empower local congregations to resist Christian nationalism while fostering communities grounded in justice, pluralism, and love for neighbor.
Participants will:
Build relationships with other clergy committed to democracy and public faith.
Learn how faith-rooted organizing can be a powerful practice to resist Christian nationalism locally.
Share what support and resources they need to move their congregations toward collective witness.
These gatherings are meant to offer connection, renewal, and collaboration, reminding us that none of us are called to do this work alone.
👉 Register today to reserve your spot and share what would make this space most helpful for you and your ministry.
Together, we can help our faith communities live out a public witness that strengthens democracy and affirms the God-given dignity of every person.
