Farewell in Focus: Pastor Lars Hammar’s Final Assembly Photo Ministry

Since 2016, Pastor Lars Hammar of Lord of Grace Lutheran Church in Tucson has helped us see God at work through his camera lens. This year’s Synod Assembly marked a bittersweet milestone: Pastor Lars’ final assembly with us before he begins a new call in Walla Walla, Washington.

Across nearly a decade of assemblies, Pastor Lars has faithfully documented our gatherings, offering not just photos but a visual ministry that preserves the life we share as the people of God. His eye for light, emotion, and community has helped us tell our story in ways that words alone cannot.
