Grace Lutheran in Kingman, Annual Report: 2025
Grace Lutheran Church in Kingman, AZ, offers their 2025 report to the synod assembly through a heartfelt update on their Manna Grant-supported ministry. What began years ago as the Family Outreach Lunch continues today with renewed energy and purpose.
During the pandemic, Grace Lutheran had to reduce how often they served their free community lunch due to a drop in available volunteers. But in an act of bold faith—and despite not having budgeted for it—they made the decision to resume serving a meal every week to anyone in the community who is in need or simply wants to share in fellowship.
Thanks to a Manna Grant and the generosity of Ascension Lutheran Church, Grace Lutheran now offers not only a hot meal but also a produce table where visitors can take home fresh fruits and vegetables to help build healthy meals.
This ministry embodies what it means to be church together: extending the table, feeding the hungry, and building community. We give thanks for the faithful witness of Grace Lutheran and their partners, and for the grant support that allows this important ministry to continue.
