Grand Canyon Synod Prays with Pastor Tim Wright Following Jan Wright’s Death

The Grand Canyon Synod joins in prayer and compassion with Pastor Tim Wright and his family following the death of his wife, Jan Wright, on May 3, 2026.

A celebration of Jan’s life will be held on Saturday, June 6, at 11 a.m. at Community of Grace Lutheran Church.

Friends, colleagues, and members of the wider synod community are invited to hold Pastor Tim, their family, and all who grieve in prayer during this season of loss and remembrance.

As people of resurrection hope, we give thanks for Jan’s life and commend her into God’s eternal care, trusting in the promise of Christ’s abiding grace and peace.
