Help Shape the Future: Join a Conversation on the 2027–2028 Mission Plan

The Grand Canyon Synod will introduce its Proposed Mission Plan for 2027–2028 through two upcoming Zoom gatherings, offering leaders across the synod an opportunity to learn, reflect, and engage.

Join us for one of these online sessions:

  • Saturday, May 30, 2026 – 9:00 AM (Arizona & Nevada)

    Register here.

  • Tuesday, June 2, 2026 – 5:00 PM (Arizona & Nevada)

    Register here.

A PDF of the proposed plan will be available soon for advance review.

These webinars will provide an early look at the mission plan, explain its purpose and priorities, and create space for conversation across our synod. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, share reflections, and begin discerning how we move forward together in God’s mission.

In the Lutheran tradition, we trust that the Holy Spirit works through the gathered community. These conversations are not simply informational—they are part of our shared calling to listen, discern, and respond faithfully to where God is leading us next.

For those unable to attend live, a recorded version will be made available, ensuring broad access across our geographically diverse synod.

We will also include practice voting opportunities for those who will serve as voting members, helping ensure a smooth and confident experience in the work ahead.

Your participation matters. As we prepare for the coming years, we invite you to bring your voice, your questions, and your hope for the future of ministry in the Grand Canyon Synod.

Register today and be part of shaping what comes next.
