“Hope is a group project,” writes Jemar Tisby. For those feeling alone in their work, uncertain about their next step, or eager to share what they are learning, this gathering offers space to listen, reflect, and move forward together.
Wayfinding means finding our bearings on unfamiliar paths. The commons names what we share—and how we care for it together. Both connect with our Lutheran understanding of vocation: God calls us to serve our neighbors, sharing our gifts and stewarding the life we hold in common.
Participants can expect grounding through Scripture, prayer, readings, or music; a brief leadership lesson; coach-facilitated small groups addressing real-life and ministry challenges; and shared reflection. The aim is to leave with greater clarity and at least one actionable step.
Bring curiosity, openness, and whatever question or challenge you are carrying. Consider where the Spirit may be inviting you to participate in God’s work, especially beyond church walls.
Wayfinding in the Commons meets on the first Wednesday of each month, reflecting ELCA Coaching’s vision: “Nobody Journeys Alone.” Explore recordings from previous gatherings.
