Join the Growing Network of Creation Care Ministries

The Grand Canyon Synod is already making its mark on the national map of Lutheran creation care ministries through:

  • Lutheran Advocacy Ministry Arizona (LAMAZ)

  • Harvest of Hope Community Garden at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mesa, AZ

  • Rev. Glenn Schrader, Speaker, Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Tucson

  • Rev. Ron Rude, Speaker, Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Tucson.

The Grand Canyon Synod Stewardship Team invites all congregations and ministries across our synod to share their creation care work by adding themselves to the Lutherans Restoring Creation map at www.LutheransRestoringCreation.org

Whether your congregation has formed a green team, established community gardens, developed outdoor ministries, or appointed creation care ambassadors, your ministry deserves recognition and can inspire others.

The map includes categories for synod creation care teams, energy stewards, covenanted congregations, green shepherds, speaker’s bureau members, creation care coaches, and many other forms of environmental stewardship. By adding your ministry to this national resource, you'll connect with like-minded Lutherans across the country while showcasing the important creation care work happening right here in Arizona, Nevada, and Utah!

Visit www.lutheransrestoringcreation.org to see how your congregation can be part of this growing movement of faithful environmental stewardship. Together, we can demonstrate the Grand Canyon Synod's commitment to caring for God's creation while inspiring others to join this vital ministry.
