King of Glory Preschool in Tempe Seeks Assistant Teacher for Pre-K Classroom

King of Glory Preschool in Tempe is seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join its Pre-Kindergarten classroom team. The preschool is looking for someone who is at least 21 years old and has a passion for nurturing children in a classroom setting. A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher degree is preferred, along with two to three years of experience working with groups of young children.

The Assistant Teacher will work alongside the Lead Teacher to provide engaging learning activities, maintain a safe and welcoming classroom environment, prepare materials for daily lessons, supervise indoor and outdoor play, encourage healthy habits, and model positive Christian values and behavior for children. Additional responsibilities include participating in professional development opportunities, supporting special classroom and family events, and contributing positively to the teaching team.

This role offers an opportunity to live out a calling of service by helping children grow academically, socially, and spiritually in a caring Lutheran environment.
