Leading Visibly into 2026: Faith, Climate, and What’s Next from Blessed Tomorrow
As we begin a new year, Blessed Tomorrow—a program of ecoAmerica—is inviting faith communities to step into “visible climate leadership” in 2026. In their January newsletter, Blessed Tomorrow outlines concrete opportunities for congregations and faith leaders to lead boldly, locally, and faithfully in caring for God’s creation.
Rev. Carol Devine, Director of Blessed Tomorrow, frames the year with a clear invitation: How will we show up visibly in this moment? For Lutherans grounded in God’s call to love neighbor and steward creation, the newsletter offers both inspiration and practical pathways forward.

Tools, Research, and Stories for the Road Ahead
The newsletter also highlights:
ecoAmerica’s Local Climate Action Guide, designed to help individuals and congregations take practical, local steps with global impact.
Findings from the 2025 American Climate Metrics Survey, showing growing bipartisan moral concern for climate action—especially among younger generations.
New program and partner updates, including a forthcoming Blessed Tomorrow faith + climate film series, climate justice leadership across denominations, and inspiring stories from Climate Ambassadors nationwide.
As Lutherans in the Grand Canyon Synod, we know that climate care is not abstract—it is deeply connected to justice, neighbor love, and our shared future, particularly in a region already experiencing the impacts of extreme heat, drought, and environmental stress.
