Listen In: LSS-SW Launches Partners in Action Podcast

Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest invites you to hear the stories behind its work through the new Partners in Action Podcast. Hosted by President and CEO Bobby Ghisolfo, the podcast connects listeners with the people and partnerships serving neighbors across Arizona.

Listen to the first episode, “Passing the Torch,” featuring a conversation between Ghisolfo and former CEO Connie Phillips. Phillips reflects on her years of leadership and the organization’s growth, while Ghisolfo shares what brought him to LSS-SW and his hopes for its future. Together, they explore how to honor a legacy of service while preparing for what comes next.

Future conversations will feature staff, volunteers, supporters, faith and community partners, board members, and neighbors whose experiences shape the organization’s work. Ghisolfo plans to welcome guests each month.

For Grand Canyon Synod congregations, the podcast offers a way to connect our Lutheran understanding of vocation—loving and serving our neighbors in response to God’s grace—with the everyday work of community care. These stories can help listeners learn about LSS-SW’s mission and consider their own opportunities to participate.
