Lutheran Men in Mission Shares Spring 2026 Opportunities and Resources

Lutheran Men in Mission (LMM) has released its Spring 2026 Ambassador-Gram newsletter, featuring upcoming events, new ministry resources, leadership opportunities, and ongoing Bible studies designed to support men’s ministry across the church. Congregations and leaders throughout the Grand Canyon Synod are encouraged to explore the full newsletter and share its opportunities with men’s groups and ministry leaders.

Among the highlights is the 2026 LMM Annual Meeting, which will take place Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Central Time via Zoom. The gathering will include election of officers and reports from board members. LMM is also encouraging congregations and men’s groups to consider hosting local watch gatherings together. The Zoom link will be posted at the organization’s newly simplified website: LMM.MEN.

The newsletter also celebrates the launch of LMM’s new Discipleship Course, a twelve-session online experience developed in partnership with Luther Seminary’s Faith + Lead initiative. The first cohort is already full and begins this summer. Participants will engage in Bible-centered studies, workshops, and activities intended to deepen faith and discipleship, with certification awarded upon completion. LMM is inviting prayers for this inaugural group and is already accepting applications for a future cohort later this year.

Additional opportunities highlighted in the newsletter include:

  • An Estate Gift Planning Overview via Zoom on May 12, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Central Time

  • Weekly online Bible studies on Thursdays and book discussions on Tuesdays

  • New and updated men’s ministry resources, including a revised Men’s Ministry Leaders Guide and a new “2 x 4 Mini Retreat” outline

  • Upcoming “On the Way to Living” men’s retreats in South Carolina and Iowa later this year

  • Access to Bible study resources through Project Twelve and the Lifelines guided studies series

LMM has also launched a simplified website address — LMM.MEN — along with a 2026 greeting video available for synod assemblies and congregational gatherings. The organization’s mobile app is now available through both Google Play and the Apple App Store.

As Lutherans committed to forming disciples and strengthening Christian community, these kinds of shared learning opportunities, retreats, and studies can help equip leaders and congregations for faithful service and mutual encouragement.
