New ELCA Racial Justice Webinar Offers Tools for Congregations
The recording of “Dismantle: Using the Devotional in Congregational Life,” the third webinar in ELCA Racial Justice Ministries’ five-part series, is now available to watch.
This series equips congregations, synods, and ministry leaders with practical resources and theological grounding for dismantling white supremacy. The Dismantle devotional offers a way for communities of faith to reflect, learn, pray, and act together as we live more fully into God’s call to justice, accountability, and beloved community.
For Lutherans, this work is rooted in the gospel’s promise that all people are created in God’s image and that Christ calls the church toward reconciliation. This webinar can help congregational leaders consider how the devotional may be used in adult education, small groups, leadership gatherings, or personal spiritual practice.
Two webinars remain in the series:
November 10, 2026: “Now is the Time: Living Into Our Church’s Declarations and Statements”
January 12, 2027: “Commemorating the Emmanuel Nine and George Floyd: Sacred Memory as Call to Action”
Register for the upcoming webinars.
We encourage rostered ministers, congregational leaders, and all who are committed to racial justice to watch the recording and share it within your ministry setting.
