Now Hiring: Administrative Assistant at Santa Cruz Lutheran in Tucson

Santa Cruz Lutheran Church in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join their ministry team. This flexible 22-hour-per-week role offers a meaningful opportunity to support the worship and community life of the congregation.

The position pays $15 per hour and includes two weeks of vacation after the first year. A hybrid model is welcome—some of the work may be completed from home.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Preparing weekly worship bulletins and monthly newsletters

  • Supporting the pastor and music minister in worship planning

  • Handling phone communications

  • Coordinating with members, staff, and synod/conference leaders

  • Managing office supplies

  • Assisting with financial operations alongside the Treasurer and Financial Secretary

Our current Administrative Assistant is committed to supporting a smooth transition and is available to train the new hire through the month of September.
