Now Hiring: Children’s and Family Ministry Coordinator at King of Glory, Tempe

King of Glory Lutheran Church in Tempe is seeking a Children’s and Family Ministry Coordinator to develop and support a vibrant ministry for children from nursery through fifth grade. This part-time, flexible position is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about faith formation, relationship-building, and community engagement. View job description in PDF.

The position is 15 hours per week, year-round, with a flexible schedule, and reports to the Senior Pastor. The Coordinator will work closely with pastors, staff, volunteers, families, and the church preschool to nurture faith and belonging among children and families.

Responsibilities include coordinating nursery and Sunday School volunteers, supporting Sunday programming, collaborating on curriculum, and developing faith-building events throughout the year. Annual highlights include Vacation Bible School, Easter and Fall family celebrations, and milestones such as Baptism, First Bible, and First Communion.
