Holding Pastor Brian Weinberger in Prayer in This Season of Recovery
We share a new update on Pastor Brian Weinberger of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mesa, and we invite your continued prayers for him and his family in this season of healing.
Following a recent round of surgeries, Pastor Brian reports that procedures have gone well overall. While additional adjustments were needed during the process, he is recovering with minimal pain and the expected swelling. Throughout it all, he remains grounded in faith and gratitude, expressing thanks for the many prayers offered on his behalf.
We continue to hold Pastor Brian, Bekkah, their children, and the Bethlehem community in prayer. As the healing journey unfolds over time, we trust in God’s presence—through skilled medical care, through the support of loved ones, and through the steady encouragement of the wider church.
In this Easter season, we are reminded that resurrection hope meets us even in long recoveries and uncertain paths. We are a church that walks together, bearing one another’s burdens and lifting one another in prayer.
We invite you to continue praying for Pastor Brian’s healing, for strength and peace for his family, and for the community that surrounds them with care.
“Gracious God, we thank you for the healing that has begun in Pastor Brian’s life and for the care that surrounds him. Continue to strengthen his body, renew his spirit, and sustain him in hope. Be near to Bekkah, their children, and the Bethlehem community, granting them peace and endurance for the days ahead. Hold them all in your steadfast love, and remind us that in every season, you are faithful. In Jesus’ name we pray.”
