Spring Gatherings Kick Off in Phoenix: Join Us Across the Grand Canyon Synod

This coming spring, the Grand Canyon Synod will gather across Arizona and southern Nevada under the theme Rooted in God’s Story. These Spring Gatherings invite rostered ministers, lay leaders, and congregational members to come together for connection, reflection, and shared learning—grounded in God’s Word as the foundation of our lives and ministries.

We begin this season of gathering in the Phoenix area, with multiple opportunities early in the spring, before continuing on to Flagstaff, Tucson, and Las Vegas in the weeks that follow. All gatherings are open to everyone across the synod, and participants are welcome to attend whichever location best fits their schedule.

Why We Gather

As Lutherans, we trust that our individual stories are held within God’s greater story of love, grace, and renewal. These Spring Gatherings offer time to be reminded of that truth, to listen deeply, and to strengthen the relationships that bind us together as one synod.

Together, we remain Rooted in God’s Story.
