Still Time to Gather: Las Vegas Spring Gathering Set for April 11
There is still time to gather.
The final 2026 Spring Gathering for the Grand Canyon Synod will take place:
Colorado River Conference
Saturday, April 11 | 10:00 a.m.
Good Samaritan Lutheran Church. Windmill, (Las Vegas)
All rostered ministers, lay leaders, and congregational members are invited to attend—no matter where you are in the synod. No registration is required. Simply come as you are.
As our synod continues this year’s theme, Rooted in God’s Story, this final gathering offers an opportunity to connect across congregations and re-center our shared life in Christ.
As Lutherans, we confess that our ministries are not self-made. We are shaped by Word and Sacrament, grounded in Christ’s promises, and sustained by grace. Our congregations are part of something larger—God’s ongoing story of love, reconciliation, and renewal.
This gathering creates space to:
Strengthen relationships across the synod
Reflect on our shared calling
Listen deeply to one another
Re-center our ministries in God’s promises
In a time marked by rapid change and uncertainty, gathering face-to-face matters. It reminds us who we are and whose we are: people rooted in Christ, connected across Arizona, southern Nevada, St. George, and the Navajo Nation, and sent into the world in hope.
This is the final Spring Gathering of the season. If you have not yet attended, this is your opportunity.
Come and be part of the conversation. Come and be renewed. Come and be reminded that together, we remain Rooted in God’s Story.
