Tempe, Sun City, Phoenix: Join the First Spring Gatherings

The Grand Canyon Synod’s Spring Gatherings begin next week in the Phoenix area, launching our synod-wide season of connection and reflection under the theme Rooted in God’s Story.

All rostered ministers, lay leaders, and congregational members are invited to attend any location that fits their schedule.

Phoenix-Area Gatherings (Next Week)

We begin with three opportunities in the Valley:

• Saturday, February 21 | 9:00 am
  Desert Cross Lutheran Church (Tempe)

• Tuesday, February 24 | 9:30 am
  American Lutheran Church (Sun City)

• Tuesday, February 24 | 6:30 pm
  St. Andrew Lutheran Church (Phoenix). For the evening gathering at St. Andrew, participants are invited to arrive anytime after 6:00 pm for light refreshments and informal fellowship prior to the conversation, as we will not have a post-gathering reception.

These first gatherings set the tone for our spring season—offering space for shared learning, conversation, and encouragement as we reflect together on what it means to be rooted in God’s ongoing story of grace.

Participants are welcome at any location, regardless of conference boundaries.
