Understanding Christian Nationalism: A Community Conversation at King of Glory
King of Glory Lutheran Church in Tempe invites the Grand Canyon Synod community to a thoughtful evening discussion on Christian Nationalism on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 6:30–8:00 p.m. in the KOG Sanctuary. This event is free and open to all. View PDF flyer here.
As followers of Jesus, we confess a Lord whose kingdom is not defined by national identity or political allegiance. This conversation offers space to reflect on how Christian Nationalism shows up in our world today, why it matters, and how our faith invites us to respond with compassion, hospitality, and truth.
The evening will feature guest speakers Rev. Caleb Campbell and Rev. Ellie Hutchison, who will guide participants through a shared examination of:
- What Christian Nationalism is
- How it intersects with our civic life and church witness
- How Christians can engage neighbors with humility, grace, and hope
This gathering is designed for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of how faith and culture intersect. Together, we aim to foster learning, build relationships, and encourage faithful public engagement rooted in the Gospel.
