Churchwide Assembly Online Hearings Begin This Week
Preparations for the 2025 ELCA Churchwide Assembly continue with a series of online hearings, held via Microsoft Teams. These non-legislative sessions give participants the chance to engage key proposals — from updates to social statements to budget discussions. Hearings begin Tuesday, July 15 at 6 p.m. Central and continue through Thursday, July 24. All are welcome to view, but only specific participants may speak. Recordings will be available afterward.
