Where in the World? Help Map Our Synod’s Global Connections
The Grand Canyon Synod Global Engagement Team is inviting congregations and faith communities across our synod to complete a short, 3–5 minute survey about their international ministry and outreach connections by Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

From mission partnerships and ministry organizations to relationships with communities and churches around the world, the team wants to better understand where and how Grand Canyon Synod congregations are already engaged globally. Congregations with an international connection are invited to share where that ministry takes place, the organizations involved, and a contact person who can help the synod learn more.
The survey also offers an opportunity to connect more closely with the Grand Canyon Synod’s companion church relationships in Senegal and Mexico. Respondents can indicate their interest in receiving Global Engagement updates, participating in occasional Zoom gatherings, or helping share global ministry news with their congregation.
As Lutherans, our understanding of church extends far beyond congregational, synodical, and national boundaries. We are part of a global body of Christ, called into relationships in which we accompany one another, learn from one another, and participate together in God’s work in the world.
Whether your congregation has maintained an international partnership for years or is interested in learning more about our synod’s global relationships, the Global Engagement Team would like to hear from you.
Please complete the survey by September 30 and help us build a clearer picture of the Grand Canyon Synod’s connections around the world.
