Wondering About Seminary? Spend a Weekend at Luther
Explore Seminary October 9–11: Register by October 5
Considering seminary or discerning a call to ministry? Luther Seminary’s Seminary Sampler Weekend takes place October 9–11, 2026, at its St. Paul, Minnesota, campus. Register by Monday, October 5.
Join others exploring seminary for conversation, study, and discernment. Participants will meet faculty, staff, and current students, connect with Twin Cities ministry leaders, and hear how others are living out their calls.
As Lutherans, we understand vocation as God’s call to serve our neighbors through our gifts and daily lives. For those wondering whether that service might include theological study or public ministry, this weekend offers space to explore those questions in community.
The schedule includes:
Friday, October 9, 6:30–8:30 p.m.: Optional group dinner and activities in the Twin Cities.
Saturday, October 10, 10 a.m.–6:30 p.m.: Full-day Seminary Sampler, including snacks, lunch, and dinner.
Sunday, October 11, approximately 9 a.m.–noon: Attend a local congregation and share brunch with a member of the seminary community.
Luther Seminary is located at 2481 Como Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55108. See the event page for details or contact admissions at 1-800-LUTHER3.
Register by October 5, and consider sharing this invitation with someone in your congregation whose gifts for ministry you have noticed. A personal word of encouragement can help someone take the next step in discernment.
