Installation of Rev. Dan Potaznick

The Installation of Rev. Dan Potaznick will be Saturday, April 1, 2023, 2pm MST/PDT, 3pm MDT, at St. John’s Lutheran Church (7205 N 51st Ave, Glendale AZ 85301). Bishop Hutterer will be preaching and presiding, Pastor Dan Potaznick will preside after installation, and Rev. Dr. Peter Perry will assist. View the livestream here.

Rostered Ministers are invited to robe and process. Color of the day is purple. There will be a reception following the service.

Multicultural Youth Leadership Event (MYLE): 2024 ELCA Youth Gathering

The Multicultural Youth Leadership Event (MYLE) is a pre-event to the 2024 ELCA Youth Gathering in New Orleans. 225 volunteers provide 72,000 meals at Fountain Hills Food Pack

Thanks to the generosity of 225 volunteers, the March 2 Fountain Hills Food Pack for “Food for Kidz” provided 72,000 meals for hungry neighbors near and far. Read the full article in the Fountain Hills Times.

The ecumenical activity was organized by New Journey Lutheran Church and supported by Church of the Ascension and Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran. Many other groups and individuals helped provide financing and volunteers including the Northeast Valley Consortium, Fountain Hills Presbyterian, Noon Kiwanis, Thrivent, Messinger Mortuary and Safeway.
