All God’s Critters Welcome: Blessing of the Pets in Oro Valley

Bring your furry, feathered, scaly, or otherwise beloved animal companions to Resurrection Lutheran Church in Oro Valley on Saturday, October 31, at 9 a.m. Deacon Emma will lead a Blessing of the Pets in Memorial Plaza, celebrating God’s creatures and the people they call family.

Location: Resurrection Lutheran Church, 11575 N. 1st Ave., Oro Valley, AZ 85737.

All critters, big and small, are welcome. This gathering offers an opportunity to give thanks for the animals who share our lives and to celebrate our calling to care for God’s creation. As Lutherans, we recognize creation as God’s gift and respond with gratitude, love, and care.

Join Deacon Emma and the Resurrection community for the treat of a blessing—without any Halloween tricks!
