Faith, Voting and Creation Care: News from Blessed Tomorrow

Voting resources, creation care films and opportunities for congregational action are featured in Blessed Tomorrow’s November 2026 newsletter. The issue also includes an upcoming October 27 Q&A session for people considering ecoAmerica’s climate leadership awards.

In her greeting, the Rev. Carol Devine encourages readers to vote early where possible, help others participate and share voting information through congregational communications. Election Earth offers tools for making a voting plan and inviting others to do the same.

For Lutherans, caring for creation and seeking our neighbors’ well-being are expressions of faith active in love. This issue offers several ways to put that calling into practice:

  • Watch and discuss: Explore Caring for the Earth: Stories from Faith Communities, a film series honored at five film festivals.

  • Learn and participate: Find Climate Ambassador opportunities, One Home One Future voting resources and Dayenu’s climate voter outreach.

  • Equip your leaders: Read “Voting Faith and Climate” and findings from ecoAmerica and the American Psychological Association on turning climate concern into organizational action.

  • Explore regional connections: Find a news roundup that includes reporting on protections for Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante in Utah.

Interested in the 2027 American Climate Leadership Awards? ecoAmerica’s live Q&A office hours take place October 27 at 9 a.m. Arizona and Nevada time / 10 a.m. Utah and Navajo Nation time. The newsletter includes the Zoom link; no calendar invitation will be sent.
