Discover the New ELCA.org: Improved Search, Resources, and a Fresh Digital Experience

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America has officially launched a newly redesigned website at ELCA.org, offering a modern digital space designed to better serve church members, leaders, congregations, and those exploring faith.

The new site is the result of more than a year of collaboration among teams from the ELCA Churchwide Organization’s Strategic Communications, IT, and Innovation departments. Together, these teams conducted extensive user research and developed a platform that is more accessible, intuitive, and responsive to the needs of today’s church.

The redesigned ELCA.org aims to help people understand, explore, and live out their faith more easily, while connecting them to the resources and ministries of the wider church.

One of the most notable improvements is the introduction of a new enhanced search tool, available at:

This enhanced search expands beyond the main ELCA website to include results from multiple sources across the church, including:

  • ELCA.org pages

  • The ELCA resource library

  • Congregation profile information

  • Articles from Living Lutheran

The result is a more comprehensive and guided search experience, helping users quickly find relevant information and curated resources based on their interests and needs.

The redesign reflects the ELCA’s ongoing commitment to meeting people where they are, including in digital spaces, and supporting congregations and leaders in their ministries. Whether someone is looking for faith resources, learning more about Lutheran beliefs, exploring congregations, or engaging with the church’s work in the world, the new ELCA.org offers a clearer and more dynamic pathway.

We encourage congregational leaders, ministry partners, and members across the Grand Canyon Synod to explore the new site and take advantage of the improved search and expanded resources now available.
