Grades 1–6 Invited: Join the Camp ALOMA Elementary Retreat March 20–22
Families across the Grand Canyon Synod are invited to send their young campers to the Camp ALOMA Elementary Retreat, a fun and faith-filled weekend designed especially for children in grades 1–6. The retreat takes place Friday, March 20 at 5:30 p.m. through Sunday, March 22 at 2:00 p.m. and offers a wonderful introduction to the experience of summer camp.
For many children, this retreat serves as a first taste of the Camp ALOMA community, combining outdoor activities, shared meals, games, and meaningful Bible study and fellowship. Campers will spend the weekend building friendships, exploring faith, and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation in a welcoming and supportive camp environment.
Camp ministry has long been an important part of Lutheran life, providing young people with opportunities to grow in faith, deepen relationships, and discover the joy of Christian community. The Elementary Retreat is designed to help younger campers experience those gifts in a shorter weekend format.
Parents are encouraged to invite a friend to attend with their child, making the retreat even more fun and helping new campers feel at home.
The cost for the weekend retreat is $100 per camper.
