Holiday Schedule Update: Office of the Bishop Closed Dec. 24–26 and Jan. 1

The Office of the Bishop of the Grand Canyon Synod will be closed for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, December 24 through Thursday, December 26

  • Wednesday, January 1

During these closures, staff will be away and routine responses to email and phone messages may be delayed.

These scheduled closures allow staff time for rest and renewal during the Christmas season and at the start of the new year—an important rhythm in our shared life of faith and ministry. As Lutherans, we recognize rest not as withdrawal from vocation, but as a faithful practice that sustains our ability to serve well.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to plan accordingly if you anticipate needing assistance from the Office of the Bishop during this time.
