Interfaith Action and Reflection: What’s New from Arizona Faith Network

Read original newsletter here

The most recent Arizona Faith Network (AFN) newsletter is now available, offering a rich collection of interfaith gatherings, educational opportunities, and partner actions as we move toward the new year.

AFN begins by celebrating its 2025 Annual Gathering, sharing photos and video highlights for those who attended—and those who wish to revisit the day. The newsletter also invites ongoing spiritual grounding through AFN Monday Meditation, held weekly on Mondays at noon (MST) via Zoom.

Several upcoming events invite deep reflection and learning across traditions:

  • Embracing Peace: An Interfaith Midwinter Gathering

    Tuesday, January 7, 6:00–7:30 pm

Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery, Phoenix

  • Faith and Science from an Islamic Perspective, Part 3

Saturday, January 17, 1:00 pm MST via Zoom

  • Restoring Right Relations Webinar Series

    January 10, 24; February 7, 21 via Zoom

The newsletter also highlights Giving Machine locations across Arizona, offering tangible ways to support local and global nonprofits during the holiday season, including ministries and organizations serving food security, housing, education, and global health.

Partner updates include invitations to a Moral Monday Vigil with the Arizona Poor People’s Campaign, a trauma-informed communication workshop, and a job posting for a Director of Children’s Ministry at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Phoenix.

AFN closes by naming upcoming interfaith holidays and observances, reminding us of the sacred diversity of this season and the shared hope that connects our communities.

We encourage you to explore the full AFN newsletter, share it widely, and consider subscribing to stay connected to interfaith work across Arizona.
