New Youth & Family Ministry Hub Launches: Explore, Equip, Empower

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new Youth and Family Ministry page on the Grand Canyon Synod website: gcsynod.org/youth-family.

Rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Youth and Family Ministry in the Grand Canyon Synod seeks to nurture faith, foster community, and equip young people and their families to live out their baptismal calling in everyday life. Whether you’re a parent, youth leader, pastor, or young person yourself, this new hub is your one-stop destination for forming faith and building intergenerational connections.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Educational Opportunities like Vacation Bible School and summer camps

  • Registration Forms for upcoming events

  • Connections with other youth leaders

  • Latest News and trusted resources for congregational support

Featured Resources You Can Use Today:

  • Safe Church Policy Guide – Learn how to protect children, youth, and vulnerable adults through clear guidelines and best practices. Includes sample policies and legal/insurance considerations.

  • TENx10 Movement – Discover how your congregation can join a national effort to make faith matter more to 10 million teens through proven, relational, and Gospel-centered practices.

You’ll also meet our Synod Youth Advisory Team (SYAT)—a dedicated group of leaders serving children and youth from preschool through young adulthood across our synod.

Our theological grounding is clear: Faith is shaped through relationships. We support this with resources that equip households, congregations, and young leaders for:

  • Faith Formation

  • Intergenerational Connection

  • Service and Justice

  • Support and Guidance
