What to Expect
The retreat will offer plenty of room to breathe, unwind, and build relationships with others who understand both the joys and challenges of ministry with younger generations.
Friday evening will begin with time to settle in, enjoy dinner in Prescott, and get to know one another. On Saturday morning, participants will take part in Intentional Conversations hosted by SYAT leaders. Rather than formal presentations, these will be focused, small-group conversations shaped around participants' interests and ministry needs. Topics may include:
Faith Formation curriculum
Balancing parent and youth relationships
Intergenerational ministry ideas and opportunities
Questions and topics raised by participants during Friday evening's conversations
Participants will be able to choose the conversation most relevant to their ministry context, share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another.
Come as you are, bring your questions and ideas, and spend 24 hours reconnecting with yourself, God's beautiful creation, your ministry, and others who share this important work.
Reserve your spot today by emailing lbook@gcsynod.org.
