Schedule Update: Jazz Vespers Shifts to February 15 at Mount of Olives in Phoenix

Please note a scheduling change for February’s Jazz Vespers at Mount of Olives Lutheran Church. Instead of the usual second Sunday of the month, February’s Jazz Vespers will take place on Sunday, February 15, offering a special Valentine’s-themed evening of music, worship, and service.

The decision reflects a joyful “Holy Spirit audible,” as Mount of Olives shifts the date to avoid conflict with Super Bowl LX and to ensure the community can fully gather for this beloved Music for Food ministry. The February 15 Jazz Vespers will feature Typhanie Monique with Beth Lederman, continuing a rich tradition of spirit-filled jazz that fuels compassionate action.

As always, 100% of the proceeds from Jazz Vespers directly support food ministry in the Mount of Olives neighborhood, helping provide food for approximately 250 families each week. Through music and generosity, the congregation lives out Christ’s call to love neighbors in tangible ways—feeding bodies while uplifting spirits.
