Start Reading: Living Lutheran’s New Site Now Offers Free Digital Access

A little early good news has arrived this Advent season: the new LivingLutheran.org has launched, and members of congregations in the Grand Canyon Synod can now sign up for a free digital membership. This refreshed online home for Living Lutheran offers an easier way to read, share, and stay connected with stories from across the ELCA.

To create your free digital account, please go directly to:

👉 livinglutheran.org/create-account/

This link takes users straight to the account-creation page, which is currently difficult to find from the main /subscribe page.

With a free digital membership, users receive:

  • A welcoming, easy-to-access format designed for phones, tablets, and computers.

  • A personalized dashboard highlighting stories and topics that interest them most.

  • Access to members-only articles, plus the ability to save and “like” content.

  • E-news delivery options for receiving stories both online and in email inboxes.

We encourage rostered ministers and lay leaders to invite your congregations to explore the new site and set up their free accounts. Living Lutheran tells the stories of the ELCA, strengthening our bond as one church across congregations, synods, states, regions, and countries. These stories remind us how God is at work in the everyday lives of Lutherans, deepening our faith and connecting us with the broader body of Christ.

For those interested in print publications, livinglutheran.org/subscribe also lists options for individual and group subscriptions to the print magazine.
